- Your ability to regurgitate information in the way others want you to
- Your ability to understand what adults want from you and give it to them
- Your tolerance…
I really only take people who say “grades don’t matter because they measure the wrong” seriously if they go out of their way to educate themselves outside of school. We’re at the best time in the history of the world to learn things yourself in a useful way, after all. Grades shouldn’t be the basis of your self-worth, but acknowledging that isn’t an excuse to be intellectually lazy.
